Guia de prevenção de afogamentos por meio da oferta de serviços de creche e do ensino de habilidades básicas de natação e segurança na água

Resumo

Esta diretriz apresenta recomendações e considerações correlatas sobre a adequação de habilidades básicas de natação e treinamento em segurança aquática, bem como a oferta de serviços de creche para prevenir o afogamento de crianças em países de baixa e média renda. Esse objetivo está alinhado à resolução WHA64.27 sobre a prevenção de lesões infantis, à meta 3.2 dos ODS relativa a acabar com as mortes evitáveis ​​de crianças menores de 5 anos e à prioridade estratégica do 13º Programa Geral de Trabalho da OMS, que visa levar mais 1 bilhão de pessoas a desfrutar de melhor saúde e bem-estar até 2030.
