A eficácia dos programas de mobilidade e força dos ombros em jogadores competitivos de pólo aquático

O pólo aquático é o esporte aquático com maior incidência de lesões, sendo as dores nos ombros as mais comuns. A compreensão dos fatores de risco e a orientação sobre medidas preventivas são essenciais nesta disciplina desportiva. O objetivo deste estudo foi determinar os efeitos de um plano de treinamento específico de 6 semanas na amplitude de movimento (ADM) e nos níveis de força articular em um grupo de jogadores profissionais de pólo aquático. Métodos: Estudo quase experimental com amostra de 28 participantes (idade: 20,1 ± 2,5 anos; altura: 176,9 ± 6,2 cm; massa corporal: 74,6 ± 8,1 kg). Foram estabelecidos três grupos de estudo, que consistiam em um grupo controle e dois grupos experimentais. Foram realizadas duas medidas repetidas, pré e pós-intervenção. Durante essas medidas, foi analisada a ADM da articulação glenoumeral tanto na rotação externa (RE) quanto na rotação interna (RI), bem como a força isométrica máxima.
